Information you give us

• Newsletter. Your email address, used only to send the newsletter. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.

Information collected automatically

To count how often articles are read, we record an anonymous page view. It contains a one-way, salted code derived from your connection details that changes every day. It cannot be turned back into an IP address and is not used to follow you between visits or across other websites.

The website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If you choose dark mode, that preference is stored in your own browser.

Embedded content

Some articles include videos or posts from other services such as YouTube or X. Those services may collect information when their content loads, under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and you can ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you by using the contact page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
